Jodne ("Company", "we", "us") operates the Jodne creator-brand collaboration platform (the "Platform" or "Jodne"). The Platform connects brands ("Brands") with content creators ("Creators") for collaboration opportunities (each, a "Collaboration"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you access or use the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to data processing activities related to the Jodne Platform. It covers all users including Brands who post collaboration opportunities and Creators who apply to those opportunities.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account & Profile: name, email, phone, organization/company name, role, social media handles, location, avatar, bio, and authentication identifiers (via Google Sign-In).
  • Creator Profile Data: niches, platforms, portfolio links, audience metrics, rates, and manager contact information.
  • Brand Profile Data: company name, industry, website, company phone, and business description.
  • Opportunity & Application Data: opportunity briefs, requirements, budgets, timelines, application pitches, proposed rates, and communications.
  • Ratings & Reviews: scores, written reviews, and feedback after completed collaborations.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Technical Data: device type, operating system, browser, language, IP address, approximate geolocation, session identifiers, and system logs.
  • Usage Analytics: page views, clicks, navigation paths, feature usage, and engagement metrics.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Authentication Providers: profile information from Google Sign-In as authorized by you.
  • Social Media Platforms: publicly available profile data and metrics you choose to share.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and operate the Platform, including matching Brands with Creators, managing applications, and facilitating initial connections.
  • Display Creator profiles to Brands and show relevant opportunities to Creators.
  • Enable ratings and reviews to build trust within the community.
  • Verify user accounts and maintain platform integrity.
  • Secure and maintain the Platform, detect/prevent fraud or abuse, and improve user experience.
  • Communicate service-related updates and notifications.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Platform Role & Limitations

Important Notice:

Jodne serves as a connection platform between Brands and Creators. Once a Creator applies to an opportunity and a Brand accepts, all collaboration activities, negotiations, payments, and deliverables are handled directly between the Brand and Creator.

  • Jodne does not manage, oversee, or guarantee any collaboration conducted between Brands and Creators.
  • Jodne bears no financial responsibility or liability for collaborations facilitated through the Platform.
  • In cases of disputes or misconduct, Jodne may investigate and take action including banning parties from the Platform, but cannot provide financial remediation.
  • Official collaborations directly with Jodne (with formal agreements) are handled separately and are subject to those specific agreements.

5. Sharing of Personal Information

We may share personal information with:

  • Other Users: Creator profiles are visible to Brands. Brand profiles and opportunity details are visible to Creators. Contact information is shared when applications are accepted.
  • Service Providers: hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, and authentication services.
  • Professional Advisors: auditors, accountants, and legal counsel for compliance purposes.
  • Authorities: when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in and maintain sessions (strictly necessary)
  • Remember preferences and improve performance (functional)
  • Measure usage and improve the Platform (analytics)

You can manage cookies via your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.

7. Data Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, secure development practices, and incident response procedures. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we work to continuously improve our protections.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above and to comply with legal requirements. Typical periods are:

  • Account & Profile: for the life of the account and up to 24 months after deletion request.
  • Opportunity & Application Data: up to 36 months after the related opportunity closes.
  • Technical Logs: 90 days, unless extended for security investigations.

After the applicable period, we delete or anonymize the data, unless law requires longer retention.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or port your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@jodne.com. We may ask for information to verify your identity.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards and implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

11. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or email. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
